Me, I was a lurker for a time and felt that I should help.

Remains the only hoax that's every completely fooled me. I trusted Mr Ainsworth, as I was involved in his forum at the time. When he said he'd discovered the episode, I didn't doubt him. I remember the weekend when everything unravelled, and it became clear it was a hoax. It was a horrible, gutting, feeling. Especially when I had personally vouched for his honesty to a couple of people. I felt a right sucker, I can tell you. Well, Ainsworth found a way not only to ruin his own forum, it seemed that his actions caused him to be ostracized from the Doctor Who community. He made his bed and now he has to sleep in it.

What did he say? Can he be prosecuted for it? He claimed he had something of the BBC's, but he didn't, right?

Well, everybody's got to start sometime. At lease I've got the (very minor) distinction of first posting on this site 24 hours before two newly-found episodes are announced! Must be me.

I think it's called "jumping on the band wagon" I've only been a member for a few months myself, even though I've been a "welcome guest" for ages. I decided to join as I had questions (which I don't bother asking anymore, for the "Sake of you all" lol) and the Africa Progress thread really caught my attention!!! Great to think that the recent discovery has rekindled any interest on the topic, but there is always going to be the bullies out there who think we are all a bunch of nerds lol. Take care all and have a safe and happy Christmas.
