According to someone at (reference to torrent site deleted by moderator), it could be:
Borehamwood Hertfordshire (Elstree Studios) : 13 octobre 1967
Recorded for ATV's "Good Evening With Jonathan King" broadcast on 14 and 16 October 1967.
It's a totally new clip, never seen since original broadcast. Great find!

I find it likely - but I have not confirmed this 100% yet - that it is from ATV's 'Good Evening I'm Jonathan King', 630pm, broadcast 14/10/67. The circumstantial evidence I have points to this date, but I could be wrong.
In which case, it's not only a fantastic Jimi Hendrix clip, it's also from a wiped programme!
This seems to be another case where the promo is a performance rather than a specially shot 'video', as we would call it nowadays. The clue here seems to me to be the fact there are no significant or noticeable edits.
A specially made 'promo video' would not be generally done in one take.
Therefore, rather than the '73 500th TOTP David Cassidy (found in Australia) and the 21/12/67 Georgie Fame clips (found in Austria), I believe these clips were provided to certain TV stations as 'promos', because the clips were so damn good!

Yes, it's been mentioned before. It's a slight upgrade of the best copy that was previously circulating. Obviously taken from higher up the chain as it's also devoid of some of the video faults of the other version. Someone obviously has the 16mm clip.

My original research (although I'd like to point out the clip was found on youtube by Lance) pointed to a recording date at Elstree (where the show was filmed) which tallied with the date of recording of the show; the detail was obtained from a Hendrix fansite. So unless Jimi was in two places at one time....
