Just because it's on Facebook does not mean it's legitimate, sorry. The amount of Groups that say they are official, when they are not, is a fair number. Until EMI state it's an official release, I won't believe it, unless there are press adverts etc.

Ok, OFFICIAL word from EMI - it IS a legitimate release. Obviously, this is a bit of a surpise to all of us. The news of this was 'leaked slightly early', according to the lady I spoke with twice (Carly) at EMI Records. There will be a Press Release in due course, apparantly. I'm presuming the artwork on the web was mocked up (meaning the drawing, rather than the vinyl) but source outwith EMI. I have the name of a future contact in EMI Press (probably being responsible for future publicity concerning the release) should John want to contact him. Email, phone number, job title, the lot.

Are you certain that it's the BBC version? I have seen a legit pic disc of the normal version backed with a 'sax' version that was issued on a run of the "ChangesOneBowie" album by accident... Ah, of course I was thinking of "John, I'm only dancing".. Anyway, this is on Picadilly records as being EMI sourced, etc, so I guess it is a legit thing.

EMI were in the dark when I rang them originally. It was not meant to be public knowledge yet, the news was 'leaked slightly early', they said.
