Hi David - Another name I remember from my past! You are quite correct in your first post that my copy was from Leonora's tfr from the disc. So my copy should be about the same as yours, if you still have kept it? If anyone is likely to have a better copy then Stuart Money would be the best bet, but I haven't seen him for years.
Alas Roger Delgado did not appear in the programme. Katy Manning was the other main Doctor Who connection on the show, as she was present when Eamon Andrews sprung the surprise on JP. I remember watching the original show as well, when I was only ten years old.

Hi Gordon, I wondered whether you remembered me from all those years back...lol.
I'm not sure if it was Stuart who got the tfr done for Leonora, but I know all she had when she leant it to me, was a cassette copy.
I've kept my original tfr and a speed corrected version on cassette. The Restoration team are welcome to borrow my copies as well if they are interested, just get Steve or Paul to contact me.

Oh there's just the possibility that Sherrie may have kept Leonora's Who things after she died.

I likewise remember David from my past as well!
In fact, I was thinking about you whilst watching the recent "Cheques, Lies and Videotape" documentary, as you very kindly did me copies of some of the Season 7 stories back in the early 1980s. Boy, was I grateful! I've still got a b/w photo of you meeting Jon at Interface 3 somewhere, the day you handed me a copy of The Ambassadors of Death because you couldn't be bothered to carry it home. LOL!
So, when's the next issue of Time Watcher coming out?
Richard

Your copy Alan, presumably came from mine at some stage during the late 80's. Very likely, David. I wish I had a better memory sometimes!

Hi folks, Just thought I would update this thread as I spoke to Stuart Money last night (sat 3/9) and he confirmed that he never took a copy off Jon Pertwee's record, so my copy and the one that Gordon has are possibly the best generation copies that survive! Does anyone else have an off-air, or another copy from whatever source? Davidxx

Btw Richard, thankyou for your kind comments. I can just about recall the day (going back a few years now...lol). If you recall I suggested you contact Kelloggs about the 'Amazing world of Dr Who' and they sent you the printing plate for the poster! Glad I could help with the early Pertwee stories back then. Davidxx

Thank's Darren.
Has anyone ever transcribed this?

Yes - this was transcribed in full for an issue of the Jon Pertwee Fan Club magazine (around 1978/79) Also, I think you will find that the Doctor Who Magazine will be doing a feature on this programme in the not too distant future, so expect some more detailed info and quotes etc .

Thanks,Gordon. As I understand it,from a certain point-when,I don't know-guests/subjects were given a disc housed at the back of the TIYL book.I wonder how often heirs fail to realise it's there?
