Have been trying to think of an orginal "guessing game" thread for a hot summers day! If you had a choice of 3 missing episodes coming back based on a particular companion or companions (and for arguments sake I am counting Katarina and Sara) which episodes would you want back? Mine would be: Daleks Master Plan 4: Katarinas death and Saras first appearance. Massacre 4: To see Dodo running across Wimbledon Common. Savages 4: To see Steven say goodbye to the Hartnell Doctor.

Massacre 4: Also because of Steven's false "leaving" scene and the speech the Doctor gives about being all alone. Anything from The Highlanders: Thisis the debut of Jamie, one of the longest serving companions in the series. Dalek Matser Plan 4: I want to see the special fx of Katarina's death. I hear it inspired the weightless scenes for the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey

The Massacre 4: For the same reasons synthpopalooza stated above.
The Savages 4: For Steven's goodbye scene.
The Highlanders 4: The final episode of Jamie's first story.
And he wasn't a companion but...
Mission to the Unknown: Just so I can see what Marc Cory was really like.

Oh - okay then, I'll play your silly bloody game...
"Mission to the Unknown" - (it's an oddball episode, has no companions or Doctor and I've always been rather fond of oddballs)
"The Highlanders": Episode 1 - (intro episode for Jamie and a very tightly- & well-written, dramatic episode. It's also one of my favourite stories...)
"Fury from the Deep": Episode 2 - (it's one of my favourites, contains the most terrifying scene of the show and stars two of my favourite characters: Oak and Quill [shame they were never made companions...])

Well I agree with Colingazza completely. Famous death; one of the most touching farewells ever to two of the best companions (I love it on audio); and the great 'I'm proud of you' scene we've glimpsed only, alas, in off-screen cine snippets – what more do you want? (108 episodes returned!!!)

I'd like to see part 4 of the Myth Makers because of Vicki's farewell, part 4 of the savages as well for Steven, and probably episode 2 of the faceless ones for the companion that never was, Smanatha Briggs, the TARDIS would have to wait 7 years for a liverpoodlian to enter it, then it gets two at once.

Fury From the Deep 6: Victoria's Depature! Evil fo the Daleks 7: Victoria Joins the TARDIS Daleks' Master Plan 1: To really see how the Master Plan started off!

Well, for me would be :
The Myth Makers: "Horse of Destruction" to see the leaving of Vicky and the entrance of Katarina.
Not necessarily an officialy recognized companion, but.............
Mission To The Unknown: As did not feature any of the original companions or doctor, also introduces the Galactic Council members from the outer galaxy's soon to make a return in "The Dalek Masterplan".
The Wheel in Space 1: As Victoria was pictured on the scanner at the start of the episode in reprise to Fury From The Deep ep 6, features now only the Doctor and Jamie, for a few episodes Jamie was the only companion on the Tardis once again as just before Victoria came aboard after the departure of Ben and Polly in ep 6 of Faceless Ones and ep 1 of Evil of The Daleks.
Ep 4 of The Massacre of St. Bartholomew's Eve: "Bell Of Doom" as marks the entrance of Dorothea ( Dodo ) Chaplet who like Katarina also had a somewhat limited run of episodes before leaving the Tardis.
Cheers, Lance.

Those pictures of Cory aren't authentic - they're composites made for the Loose Cannon reconstruction of the story.
There's no guarantee of accuracy - the spacesuits used are from The Sontaran Experiment, and the pictures of Cory are shots of De Souza from other contemporary shows.

Since the recovery rate for episodes has been bad since episodes 1,4,5,6 of The Ice Warriors in 1988 and The Tomb of the Cybermen in 1991, I'll take any three lost Doctor Who episodes that would be returned to the BBC archives. I don't care which episodes or which story they would come from. I'll even take the return of episodes 1,3,4,5,6 from The Space Pirates!!!!!!!!!

So would I - apart from a slow opening, it's really not as bad as some people make out. I rather like it...!
