I know it wasn't the greatest story but The Enemy of the World Episode 4 would plug a gap as it is the only story between The Gunfighters and The Dominators/Krotons (?) for which there aren't a set of telesnaps.

from Britain to Canada, first seeing it aired on the BBC, then the CBC in Halifax NS a few months later, then in 1966 in London Ontario. When you saw it in London, Ontario (incidently, that is where I'm from) was it aired on CFPL, the London station, or CBC?

Over on Outpost Gallifrey there's currently a missing episodes sweepstake.
Select the next Who episode to be returned to the BBC archive and win yourself some prizes.
It's really just a bit of fun though.

Funny, I'm sure I saw telesnaps of EotW ep 1 on the BBC site. I believe that the whole story was being shown, but it got interrupted by "Daleks' Master Plan" ep. 2 showing up.

It's only the telesnaps for episode 4 of the story which are missing.

I would say something from The Massacre or Mission to the Unknown. These would have to be the most poorly represented stories in terms of existing material (telesnaps included).

If something was to turn up soon I would want it to be The Crusade 4 so I could take out the missing episode sweepstakes on the Outpost Gallifrey forum. There are still some episodes left if you want to join in and the prize list is growing nicely as well.

Seeing Hartnell's dual role would be interesting. So would seeing his soliloquy in the last episode, along with Dido's first appearance

Look, it would be great if one of the more action filled episodes turned up (Web of Fear 4 springs to mind). What saddens me is that everybody seems to become more realistic about it and said one missing episode, not one missing story.

Any ep with the daleks but I most want The Destruction of Time for the death of sara Kingdom. After that , Tenth planet 4 or Power 1. Complete story would have to be Fury followed by Web and Evil. To be honest anything back is a result!

When you saw it in London, Ontario (incidently, that is where I'm from) was it aired on CFPL, the London station, or CBC? I'm pretty sure it was CFPL, though since I actually lived in Sarnia it could also have been CKLW, Windsor. (anyway it's documented in the TVguides of the day.) I don't think CBC was carrying Dr. Who on the network but rather was bicycling a print. It aired on the Halifax station only a couple of months (maybe a full year, memory distorts time <g>) after the original BBC broadcast, but when I moved to Sarnia as "Keys of Marinus" was just starting in Halifax it was a few weeks yet before "Unearthly Child/Cave of Skulls" started the series there. The CFPL run ended with Marco Polo, meaning I never saw the full "Keys of marinus" until the 1980s. Calgary Alberta also had a station showing Hartnell Whos in the mid-60s, including Marinus; my cousin there was a big fan. One possibility for the cancellation of the series is that Star Trek (and maybe Lost in space [shudder!!]) took over the market's interest in TV Science Fiction. Dr. Who was VERY popular in Sarnia at the time. All the kids were running around wearing cardboard boxes pretending to be Daleks. I still have a slight scar from a backfire when attempting to fire a pencil through a tube representing the Dalek's, erm, appendage. One comment, IF CBC had any Dr. Who in the Jarvis St. Archives, the only lost story would be Marco Polo. But supposedly all the syndicated (non-CBC) prints of anything were returned to Toronto after their runs on CBC stations to be destroyed by a bonded film house according to the distributors' requirements.
