Yeh, I think I remember on the acres of footage that the TV companies had of the Police Station, that Jack Ruby could be seen mingling around with the others, well before he shot Lee Harvey.

Yeh, I think I remember on the acres of footage that the TV companies had of the Police Station, that Jack Ruby could be seen mingling around with the others, well before he shot Lee Harvey. Ruby is recorded in the press conference held the day before he shot Oswald, strangely enough correcting the police chief on the name of the radical group Oswald was supposedly involved with! That sort of eye for detail might suggest some sort of prior knowledge on Ruby's part if one were conspiracy minded. But hey, as the recent documentary argued, Ruby couldn't possibly have planned to shoot Oswald in advance BECAUSE HE LEFT HIS PET DOG IN HIS CAR before walking into the police station! John Peel observed that at the school in Dallas where he was teaching, when the announcement came over the tannoy that Kennedy had been shot "everyone cheered"
