Rather than churning out rubbish like this, Curry's should instead concentrate on the quality of their service and the products they sell, both of which have gone down since they gained the monopoly on high-street retailers: I stopped shopping there a few years ago, having had poor experiences and buying several sub-standard items. Oh, for the days of Comet and Dixons! Well said Dave

Dixons was an awful shop if you had to return or repair anything. Borderline scammers. Must say I've bought several things from our local Currys and the staff have been helpful. The problem is lack of stock in the shop and all the nonsense of ordering online and collecting next day. Which I never do. Often the nearest branch with the item in stock is 70 or 80 miles from me. Is it my imagination or did they used to do same day delivery? I don't see it now.

When I worked there, we would've quickly boxed it up and sold it, offering a small discount if it was slightly scratched or grubby - far better than turning down a sale!

Where I live the Currys is to close to where there used to be both a Comet & a Scottish Power, which was originally a Norweb shop, and was later called something like Powerhouse.
