I know that both The Yellow Pill and The Uninvited exist in audio form but what about other OOTU episodes? Are there any else that remain either in full or any surviving extracts? What about the identity of the people who recovered these? It would be nice to know since the identity of the fans who supplied all the missing Who episodes is fairly well-known.

Extracts from the following exist: Satisfaction Guaranteed The Fastest Draw The Prophet Immortality Inc. Liar! BeachHead Something in the Cellar Random Quest The Naked Sun The Little Black Bag 1+1=1.5 The Fosters Target Generation Get Off My Cloud Many are very brief however, and unfortunately none come close to the astonishing quality of the recently recovered copies of The Yellow Pill or The Uninvited. Still, better than 'nowt. Notably, sections of the missing 1967 Thirty Minute Theatre production 'The Metal Martyr' also turned up amongst the batch. Colin

Thanks for your reply. Would you kindly list the length of material remaining or each or at least a rough estimate? It would be particularly interesting to know what audio extracts survive from Satisfaction Gauranteed, Liar and Little Black Bag since they may link directly to the surviving footage from these episodes.

Thanks for your reply. Would you kindly list the length of material remaining or each or at least a rough estimate? It would be particularly interesting to know what audio extracts survive from Satisfaction Gauranteed, Liar and Little Black Bag since they may link directly to the surviving footage from these episodes. Satisfaction Guaranteed - 3 extracts, approx 3 mins The Fastest Draw - 2 *very* brief snippets The Prophet - approx 5 extracts, about 4.30 minutes in all. Immortality Inc. - long extract from opening sequence, and final scene. Liar!- audio extract which follows on directly from the surviving t/r clip, and into next scene. Also long extract from the final scene. About 5 mins in total Beach Head - sadly only one 35 second extract. Something in the Cellar - about 7 mins of material Random Quest - 2 extracts ( 2 mins ) The Naked Sun - approx 5 extracts The Little Black Bag - Substantial extract from beginning of play, and fragments of the denouement missing from the recovered Quad tape. 1+1=1.5 - opening sequence, and 3 other extracts - about 4 mins The Fosters - 4 clips, about 5 mins Target Generation - 4 clips, 2.30 mins Get Off My Cloud - 4 clips, plus some fragments. If interested, I've included specific details of some of the clips within the following articles: www.the-mausoleum-club.org.uk/Out_Of_The_Unknown/articles/immortality_inc.htmwww.the-mausoleum-club.org.uk/Out_Of_The_Unknown/articles/liar.htmwww.the-mausoleum-club.org.uk/Out_Of_The_Unknown/articles/beach_head.htmwww.the-mausoleum-club.org.uk/Out_Of_The_Unknown/articles/naked_sun.htmwww.the-mausoleum-club.org.uk/Out_Of_The_Unknown/articles/get_off_my_cloud.htmColin

Many thanks for the info Colin. What substantial footage exists from Little Black Bag? Do you mean most of the material missing from the quad tape?

Many thanks for the info Colin. What substantial footage exists from Little Black Bag? Do you mean most of the material missing from the quad tape? Ah, apologies - I think my use of the word 'substantial' was a tad misleading here - certainly in relation to the other audio clips, the opening LBB clip could be considered this way, but we're still only looking at several minutes worth. The clip derives from the opening sequence where the technician Mike constructs a makeshift time-machine for his dim-witted 'superior' Dr Gillis ; the latter and his colleague Dr Hemingway then put the machine to the test using Hemingway's Medical bag, which of course promptly disappears. There follows a shorter clip of Hemingway consulting the medical stores to get a replacement bag, and then Al and Mike arguing over the latters foolishness in constructing the machine for Gillis. Al then reports the loss of the bag to 'control'. Unfortunately none of the '1969' scenes are included ( Dr Full discovering the bag in his flat, his subsequent attempt to pawn it, and his initial encounter with Angie when he returns from the pawnbrokers ), although there is a section from the minute or so missing from the very end of the Quad tape ( Mike pushing the 'kill' button to de-activate the bag, and Mrs Coleman screaming as Angie dies ) Colin
