They're like buses, no? Firstly Mikey of the OFTD Forum spotted Judy Collins 'Send in the Clowns' (22/05/1975)- albeit with a dubbed audio track - in excellent quality on youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7r_KfHbthQA big thank you to Doc from OFTD for alerting me to it, as well. This was uploaded from 192TV, and the tape is likely to have come from the Netherlands, where performances were for some bizarre reason sometimes dubbed. Also, David Cassidy's infamous Heathrow performance of Daydreamer(04/10/1973) has also been found in colour in excellent quality.

Many thanks Ray and you too Gary. I have never seen this performance in colour...brilliant song and David is sorely missed.

Totally agree William I always thought and still do that David had a great voice and i can certainly see why the girls loved him I also like him in the Partridge Family I can't believe he's no longer here. I remember some time ago that Eamonn Holmes interviewing him he really ripped into David having a right go at him I think it was to do with his illness totally out of order.

I'm glad you agree Alan he had everything really, I look beyond the teenybopper idol aspect of his career and he himself preferred more the rock music of the period and was friendly with the likes of Alice Cooper. He also liked The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix.
I remember that interview with Eamonn Holmes who was out of order in my opinion
My favourite song by David is "One of Those Nights" followed by "I Think I Love You"
I also have a documentary from 2017 which David wanted broadcast that showed him in the recording studio for the last time and talking to experts about his dementia (very sad)

Wow that is a great version of Stuck in the Middle from an age where flares really were flares.

It's a fantastic new find but it's a mime. They're live.....on a stage.....but they're miming. It's glorious though.

The fib about it.
It was promoted during the show that a very special pop star was flying in during the show to perform specially.
Except he wasn't.
It was pre-recorded.
Even a few canny viewers at the time realised it wasn't possible for Tony Blackburn to travel the 14 miles to LHR in around 9 minutes and compose himself to interview DC.
A similarly big TOTP lie was the one done by Noel (on the 11/04/1974 edition) when he stated that 'we go on the link to Bremen' to see Terry Jacks, when the performance was in fact a tape straight from a recent Musikladen edition.
