'gilly' BBC northern ireland 1985-87

i have been looking for this music programme which was made by BBC northern ireland online on imdb,youtube and bbc genome but no luck at all it was called 'gilly'.the star of the show was a woman called gilly and i cant remember her last name & she brought her own style of music to viewers in northern ireland.it was also seen on some occassions on BBC scotland during the mid 1980s as a scheduled filler,remembered seeing that and i fell in love with her as a 12-year old schoolboy when i first saw it in 1986!if there is anyone living in northern ireland is reading this the now or have fond memories of this show please let me know anymore information on the programme or if all shows exist in their archives in belfast.it might've been a series or as one=off occassional specials.good luck and let me know more about it.

i emailed BBC northern ireland to learn more on this show on thursday night & gerry allen who works there used to work on the show that the title of the programme is actually called 'gillie' & the gillie in question is gillie mcpherson who is now 70 and still performs today! some of her performances from her BBC NI show on her youtube channel & information on her is on discogs.com.i watched one of her performances on the programme & although she was a folk singer her music taste in this show is jazz.
