So It Goes
Series 2
with Tony Wilson, Clive James, Pete Shelley John Cooper Clarke (missing)
does anyone know the date of the missing episode above, TV Brain does not quote one.
wonder if any audio exists of this episode? (Thanks)
For me the Spiral Scratch EP by the Buzzcocks was excellent, especially the track Boredom

hi William, I wasn't aware that this one (from 7 Oct 1977) is a missing So It Goes, as the footage of Pete Shelley (performing with Buzzcocks) and John Cooper Clarke was included in the C4 retrospective "The Way They Were". Check this full listing out: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/So_It_Goes_(TV_series)

That show is defiantly not missing. It also features Van Morrison & an archive interview with Paul McCartney.

As far as I am aware, no episodes of ‘So It Goes’ are missing.
I remember looking at the entry for ‘So It Goes’ on the Lost Shows database a while ago. It appears that an error has been made. I think details from the episodes broadcast on 28.08.76. and 09.10.77. have somehow been merged together to create an undated, extra episode which never existed in the first place. This non-existent episode is showing up on the database as ‘missing’.
On a slightly related note, I’d be very pleased if the TV debut of Buzzcocks could be found. They performed ‘Boredom’ on the ‘What’s On’ section of ‘Granada Reports’ on 07 April 1977. Howard Devoto had left the band a few months earlier and Pete Shelley was now the vocalist.

Few months ago most of the So It Goes episodes surfaced (S01 E01 to E08 and S02 E01 to 10) and are in the trade circuit. I have a copy of them if someone is interested...

Does the site ever list non-existent shows to protect their copyright? The way that maps sometimes show towns that only exist on paper. www.imdb.com/title/tt3622592/
