It’s possible that Web of Fear 3 has been animated, paving the way for a special edition. What would be the icing on the cake Abominable Snowmen too.

I really hope that Feast of Steven has been animated as that could mean that the Australian prints of Daleks Masterplan and Mission to the Unknown have been found! I still believe that those audition prints are out there somewhere waiting to be found. Damian Shanahan is apparently searching for them at the moment so hopefully he is successful!

You must have been looking at something else, as I believe the BritBox version is almost 93 minutes of still pictures. Though as the programme for MBW clearly says "brand new animation of a missing Doctor Who episode", it's pretty clear that it's not an older non-animation! Presumably an episode of an upcoming DVD release in the vein of the 2017 Power of the Daleks release. A possibility. Though with the third box set apparently being Season 10 (Pertwee's fourth season), then Season 2 is relatively easy given they were willing to animate 6 episodes of Power. Which makes Season 6 a distinct possibility as well, with only 5 episodes needed to complete Space Pirates. Mind you, with all the missing Season 3 through 5 episodes, one could also argue they could be starting there, to give them time to complete the seasons. So anything really ... Jesus H Christ, please don't make me buy any more box-sets.I bought the S12 one and regretted giving away the original DVDs.I really don't want to buy Kinda or The Sensorites again with all the newly contrived extras.I'm really going to pick and choose just like the Complete History partworks. Can you imagine THAT being te-issued in years to come with extra facts omitted from the original volumes? I can definitely predict that is going to happen! That sort of thing is the norm now. How may flipping versions of Lord of the Rings and Stars Wars have been released over the years. Companies are clever at selling the same product to you multiples of times.

FYI: The "Pawloma Faith" headline looks like it is something in my newsfeed from yesterday. Presumably, then, this is either yesterday or today (not the "butcher cover"). Whether that means anything is currently debatable.

Apparently, according to Dick Fiddy this isn't a single animated episode but a compilation of animations from prospective or potential animators of future releases of missing Dr Who stories! Anyone else know what on earth is going on?

Sierra Leone did get the bulk of the Hartnell era in the 60's/early 70's I believe. The only stories they didn't get were 'Mission to the Unknown' , 'The Daleks Masterplan' and 'The Tenth Planet'. It would be far too good to be true if we were to get the bulk of the Hartnell era back in the archives. But I wouldn't be very surprised if some classic missing Hartnell has been found in Sierra Leone. Especially with further announcements coming soon about what's been recovered from Sierra Leone (not Doctor Who though). I'm hoping Phil Morris is holding back a Doctor Who announcement. Because of it's high profile, and maybe the haul of stuff recovered...or maybe that's just wishful thinking from me!

Well, Dick Fiddy didn't actually say this as far as I know, so don't jump to conclusions just yet.
