The restoration team have edit every existing serial in DVD, have made all special editions and box set possible, and during the last year's the have remastered post regeneration stories, Power of the daleks animation 2016 Spearhead from space 2017 Tom baker first season And now davinsons first season. Do you think that we are lucky and we will have some missing episodes for 2019? If there any ME recovery what they will do? Because the only post regenerations stories that have missed are twin dilema and time and the rani, both hated by people.

As most of the RT are (i believe) on this panel, they probably get a good chuckle out of our speculation...

Just what we needed, another pointless poll! I think that is an interesting question.

We'll probably get Colin Bakers first series next. Lord knows how many times the BBC will remaster this stuff, but do not fret, I can assure you that more remasters are definitely on the way.

Just what we needed, another pointless poll! Actually I’m considering setting up a new poll myself, where we vote for the most ludicrous and pointless thread ever to appear on this forum. Whichever thread comes top will win the accolade against some VERY stiff opposition …

Once the original Master had regenerated, did that make him the ReMaster?
(And why would the restoration team also be the animation team?)

Whichever thread comes top will win the accolade against some VERY stiff opposition … Well there are two strong candidates live at the moment. My vote would be for Operation Go and Look with Accentuate the Positive tied with Door Knocking for Missing Episodes a close second

PM confirmed this some time ago that any of their recoveries would be done in-house.

But if PM find some episode he will give to the BBC, and the BBC will give to the restoration team to make the DVD version. If I'm wrong tell me.

The Restoration Team are not working with any T.I.E.A ME finds. PM confirmed this some time ago that any of their recoveries would be done in-house. But if PM find some episode he will give to the BBC, and the BBC will give to the restoration team to make the DVD version. If I'm wrong tell me. Previously with EOTW and WOF, yes, but not with any future finds he said. All restoration work done done in-house. No doubt the restored product would be handed to the BBC for work to be done on the DVD content. Here's the reference quote for this, Gonzalo, from an interview with Dan Collins on a Facebook Q&A session July 20, 2014: Dan Collins: Given the remarkable work of the individuals who made up the “restoration team”, is it your hope and expectation that the same experts will continue to work on any new Doctor Who recoveries? I wonder whether as a business going forward you have or would consider developing in-house your own expertise and equipment for producing commercially viable restored material?
Philip Morris: the restoration team do the most stunning work I'm sure you all agree and they are good friends of mine. However due to the scale of the business T.i.e.a do restoration work in-house with restored materials to exacting standards.I wonder what he means by the scale of the business? Sounds promising!

Its Interesting, I hope that he have some missing episodes but he have to restored because possibly the prints have been in bad conditions during years. I hope. Thanks for the information.

I can’t wait to see Paul and the restoration team hand draw every scene from Evil of the Daleks.
... I’m being facetious by the way.

Maybe he's primarily referring to the work that TIEA do for foreign broadcasters & their archives when he says "scale of the business". There's nothing in that quote that confirms that ALL restoration work is done in-house. Maybe this applies only to a significant portion of his work, whereas any BBC material will be handed back to them to do their own restorations?
