Hello. I've been lurking round here for nearly two years and been a member for three months. This thread has moved me to make my first post. I nearly contributed to the thread about those recently unearthed Abominable Snowmen photos (Instead I had a little cry over their eternal sweetness). I've popped my little head out just to say this is the silliest discussion you've ever had. I'm going back into my box now

PS NOTE: NO, that is NOT the Brigadier!

There's a lot of irrational reasoning about the claim. The repeated appeal to freedom, the quoting laws under spurious logic. Do you do this in other aspects of your life?
It's much more likely the quote means the exact opposite; Jodie's watched zero Doctor Who. But she means to someday.

... are we to assume that Jodie Whittaker has inadvertently let slip that ALL DW MEs are actually back? Eh............ NO

It's much more likely the quote means the exact opposite; Jodie's watched zero Doctor Who. But she means to someday. At the press launch for Episode 1 she said on camera she had watched it as a child and found it frustrating she couldn't play Doctor Who is the garden/playground (whatever) as Doctor Who was a man. She definitely knows about both the history of Doctor Who and the archival status of the series. Wouldn't surprise me if Chris Chibnall fed her that line to say on @bbc6breakfast with a wink.

Do you know the archive status of your favourite childhood shows? Couldn't you accidentally say that you were going to rewatch Fraggle Rock? If the line was deliberate at all, then it's more likely that it was in order to play a joke on people who read too much into any detail. Now will you give it a rest, we're three pages deep into this idea already that everyone except you finds rather unlikely. Sometimes, if you stand alone, that's because the others are right. (And before you dissect my every word, by "sometimes" I mean clearly including this time.)
I'm not going to post here again to keep this thing going and I advise everyone to do the same.

I'm not going to post here again to keep this thing going and I advise everyone to do the same. One has to keep all bases covered. And I would advise everyone to do the same (bereft of highlighting that advice in bold). Like Charles Fort, one has to examine both sides of the coin. No-one can prove Jodie was referring to her apparent knowledge of Missing Episodes, in the same way no-one can prove the quote was just a general term (the ALL notwithstanding). I believe, however, that it does merit discussion and speculation, along the lines of the previous Tenth Planet and Web of Fear new series nods. As a Corellian Pirate once famously said, "Come on, let's keep a little optimism here."

Ah yes, that reference to Galaxy 4 a year before even the collector who held the episode was aware of its value...
Moffat knew. His stories are all about going back and forth between points. Just look at River's timeline. I'm 100% behind the idea that he can change events in Doctor Who, as he can irl. A nice coincidence for a guy who referenced it twice and has both episodes from those references turn up. It's not like Doctor Who has a huge backlog of stories or anything. I know, he knows. He cannot escape. He knew about Web, but that went out after the recovery happened. Air Lock had not been found when The Pandorica Opens went out.

Another promising quote from Jodie from the Sheffield Press launch: Jodie Whittaker hasn’t even materialised as the 13th Doctor yet, but she’s already planning a classic Doctor Who DVD marathon when the time comes to hand over the TARDIS key. “I’m a new Whovian,” the actor told Yahoo Movies at the new series press launch in Sheffield on Monday. “But the wonder of it is, when you fall in love with the show like I have, you’ve then got a 55-year history to go back on. You’ve got box set after box set!”As it stands, you can't watch box set after box set. This seems to tie-in with the long-standing rumour that box sets for every Doctor will one day be available?
