I've just sent them another message about the fact that when browsing through the list, when you click on the number of the next page, it lands you somewhere randomly in the list, rather than at the top. And if you dare to click to see the details of a particular title, no matter how far you've got, you get sent back to page 1 every time. I am sure they'd sell a lot more DVDs if they fixed these problems, but it's been like it for as long as I can remember, so I'm not holding my breath!

You can ring the changes a bit by listing Z-A.or by price high to low and vice-versa.

But it's clearly a bug, and given that they seem pretty anxious to clear as much stock as possible, why on Earth do they not get their web designer to fix it?

Not sure how many sales I have filled my basket up in now- but have never been able to buy anything from Network.

How come Peter? I haven't had a problem for a while.
I was just going to say that one thing I like about Network are their DVD covers. Some are works of art in their own right, the way they capture the period and utilise elements of the original film or programme.

Thanks John, no a desktop,I think I have been dipping into the website long before 'the fire',obviously it might just be a coincidence that when I went there was the same time they were having hiccups or something... but no worries other places like Ebay etc are no problem - 5 minutes flat on the keyboard and in the post 48 (sometimes less) hours later.

There was a period when the site was very slow and seemed to crash when they had a sale. But I haven't had that issue for a long time. The only problem is the page jumping to the middle when clicking onto the next page, as someone else mentioned. I wish they would just provide a list of titles without box images as trawling though hundreds whenever they add more is a chore.

Go on then, what have you all been buying in the sale? It's great to have the chance to pick up some series that you've been curious about, but maybe not enough to have a full-price punt. For me that includes 'The Fellows', 'Mrs Thursday' and even 'Jokers Wild;', which I remember from the Granada Plus repeats. Network's continued extensions to the sale end date are a shrewd move. I can't be the only one who keeps buying titles with an eye on the deadline, then having another look and treating myself to a few more when it's extended and further titles are added! I guess it keeps the orders coming in consistently.
As someone who remembers when you'd be glad to see a wobbly 4th generation VHS copy of a single episode of any given archive series, it's easy to forget how fortunate we are to have a wealth of material available, often beautifully presented and in a convenient format.
