Have not herd that there was an upcoming announcement of non who material recovered but as we seem to know the BBC-TV stuff it would be ITV /ITC and other UK produced television and perhaps some US stuff that would be announced.
As for Dr. Who material if he has the film prints in his possession in the United Kingdom I see no reason to delay returning it to the BBC. Yu can always decline to state where the material has been recovered from and as Phil has been all over the world speculation can run rampant until he decides to tell us.

That would really depend on what he has found and how it relates to other potential finds. Without the full picture we simply won't know, but I can completely understand his approach. Of course there is always the option that he genuinely only has found Pertwee and Baker episodes.
