I doubt that Morbius!
Let's see what Paul has to say on the matter. I am of course not suggesting for a second that he may have been misquoted or things taken out of context for the sake of a story. I will leave that for him to say if it is the case.

It's probably written by the same person who continually trawls the various Doctor Who forums for things they can sell on to the newspapers - who then proceed to turn things into the usual pile of ill-informed tabloid gibberish.

They didn't even contact me to clarify anything, presumably because they knew that the truth was far less interesting. I wish I could say it was lazy journalism but it isn't even journalism."

Seems I wasn't too far from the mark then To any casual scrollers on this page, it would be lovely to have something to celebrate this year, but it is always best to wait for an official announcement on these pages before getting excited

I like this in the comments section "It's a well known fact *at least in the unofficial sense) that private collectors have *all* of the televised episodes of Doctor Who, especially the b/w days. "

If I've interpreted things correctly, then 90 missing episodes have just been found, along with "London After Midnight" complete with director's commentary!
Wow!
(I hope everyone has a sense of humour.........)

It has never been proven, has it, that any of the Australian 1975 returns were actually destroyed?
So is it possible that the majority of these films went walkies (in sets of pairs), eventually to find a home in the care of film collectors?
One has to speculate upon all possibilties. Though I suppose if it was more than just a few escaping destruction, then by now surely more films would have shown up at car boot sales etc...

I was hoping I'd be able to hold onto my six copies of Mission to the Unknown for at least another fifteen years, but, well...

Embarrassment is probably a good word to describe all of this.

In an effort to leave no stone unturned, Hartnell's wig was searched for the missing 97...
