Yes, it shows some interesting stuff from the BFI. Well worth a look.

I watch it sometimes & yes it has many excellent &/or interesting archive tv programmes & some of its films & short features are quite obscure ( especially for a tv channel ).

We watch it all the time - The Human Jungle is an excellent series, a series I was previously unaware of. The Scotland Yard and Scales of Justice have also been very enjoyable.
They have really excelled at unearthing long forgotten British 50's and 60's films.

They show things, such as films, that were once prime time on the “main” channels but are still, in many cases, good or at least interesting in that they provide a window onto a lost world.
They also show a fair selection of “cult” material - such as the wonderfully terrible “Fire Maidens from Outrer Soace” :-)
I’m enjoying Peter Sellers, Norman Wisdom, Laurel and Hardy, etc.
I think it’s important to promote TPTV amongst the archive TV and film community - if the audience increases their revenue will grow and they’ll be able to show more.

....and for me, they also show the odd piece of motor racing programming, too.

I have it set as one of my "Favourite" channels on Sky (channel 343). Highly recommended.

Reminds me of Bravo when it first kicked up early 90s, brilliant a channel like this is around and long may it continue.
