Dear Santa, I would please like... The Tractate Middoth (Mystery and Imagination series 1966) Crane (1965) episode where Gerald Flood/Mahmood gets shot. Anyone know which one that is? Beatles or Stones on Juke Box Jury The Chopper (Out of the Unknown episode) Hendrix or similar missing material from Ready Steady Go Thank You Stephen Hello Stephen this is the nearest that appears to match your question about Mahmood being shot? 28/12/64 Series 3 Episode 9 Moving Target..An old enemy, a military man, seeks Mahmood's life. Scott Forbes as Major Seaford, John Carson as Hennessey-Bodley, Ursula Howells as Stella. this information comes from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crane_(TV_Series) where all 39 episodes from all 3 Series have an episode guide, similar to that above. Thanks William, thanks for that. That very much sounds like it. I can't remember much about the episode apart from vividly the shooting scene where Mahmood emerges from a building with an outdoor wooden staircase, as he got to the top of the staircase or started walking down, someone calls out, some shots ring out and he falls down the stairs and ends up laying face up apparently dead with a bloody shirt, then I think I saw Patrick Allan 'Crane' standing by him holding a gun and then Crane was taken away by local cops. This was the first time I saw someone shot realistically on TV (unless you include Cowboys and 'Indians' shooting each other and falling off horses in westerns) and is probably why it has stuck in my mind

Well any find is good, doesn't get me all that excited but I guess they can't magic up the first 2 series of ace of wands. But this will probably have made some peoples day.

Wow fantastic. I can't wait for the announcement that 35 seconds of 'Mr. Pastry' in ATV's 1958 Cinderella have been found

I'm fading fast James. I guess it's a lesson in not hoping for too much and therefore not being disapointed

What is it John?, I'm finding it difficult to breath It's the Tommy Steele,Bernard Breslaw,Patrick Troughton show already posted.I think that that's it for today, but I'm glad that that one's secure. Remember that all jelly-babies can't be boys,or there'll be no new jelly-babies.

can anybody identify the episode of 'Crane' where a guy dressed as an arab kept running up behind him and knocking him out...!
he must have done it about four times over the course of the episode before Crane turned the tables on him...
funny what you remember
I recall Patrick Troughton and Rosemary Nicholls in 'The Chopper' well - even the visible wires attached to the various bits of bikes that came to life and nobbled poor old Patrick as he attempted to cut the haunted bike to bits at the end...
oh and Rosemary snagged her tights on a sharp edge early on...THAT seems to cling in the mind so clearly for some strange reason.... lol !
