`Wiping it he looks through and sees the Dalek reproduction plant. He then pulls a face as if he's cracking up. putting a hand in his mouth and flees back the way he came.'
I have never forgotten that petrified look of horror on Lesterton's face even though it was fifty years ago. It was captured in one of Cura's telesnaps and it certainly scared me at the time. However I can't rule out the possibility it might appear as an example of gross overacting if viewed today! Scarey at the time though.

I remember some kind of interview in the 80s where Robert James who played him put the performance down as corny. I guess if you're having to convey something visually without words in what's essentially a kids programme you might have a tendency to exaggerate. Mind you depends on how it is in the context. I recall the composition of the whole thing as disturbing.
It was black and white film and also had that kind of surreal feel much of the film inserts for BBC shows had at that time. Things like Lost hearts and Doomwatch.

Things like Lost hearts and Doomwatch. Robert James' performance is pitched just right in my opinion.Hysterical, just like the Daleks he despises.Another scene I would like to see in the final one in The Faceless Ones.It has a real negative energy, constrained yet swift and exactly in keeping with the low key effect of the rest of the story. It was said at the time that this was one of the truly horrific Dr Who's and it positively sizzles on audio.I'd love to see how it ends.

The Dalek battle from Evil 7, because the reconstruction just doesn't make it.

Marc Cory shooting down Lowery after being infected by a Varga, then trying to send the warning, before being exterminated himself.

The assassination of the two vikings in The Time Meddler Episode 4, BBC got The Time Meddler Episode 4 from Australia (or New Zealand) So that scene was censored and that scene is missing from the fourth episode. I want to see that scene.

Well, I wouldn't mind seeing the Doctor's Sonic Vibrator.

I would lie to see Ep 2 of the Ice Warriors as its Bresslaw in the costume at the beginning whereas its a different actor at the end of Ep 1. It may even be a different head/mask too. I am sure Richard Bignell will be able to confirm that for me

Evil of the Daleks episode 7 -the final battle - I saw it twice. On original first broadcast and as a clip on a hospital request programme. Even using Marx model Daleks, this battle seen was brilliant. It is the one sequence from B and W Doctor Who that is unlikely to disappoint WHEN it is finally found. The surviving clips alas do not do it justice. The other clip I would personally love to see is Daleks Masterplan episode 12 simply because I have never seen it (Thanks to a Childrens Christmas Party - I was only 10!) Please please find it soon.

Here are extracts I'd like to see:
Marco Polo: 1. The Swordfight between Polo and Tegana / 2. Any of the narrated journal logs, just to see how they appeared in motion.
The Myth Makers: Vicki's reunion with Troilus
The Daleks' Master Plan: 1. Katarina floating through space / 2. The Daleks' death by the Time Destructor
The Massacre of St Bartholomew's Eve: 1. Bondo shoots the Admiral / 2. Steven leaves the Tardis in anger
The Abominable Snowmen: Padmasambhava's defeat.
The Space Pirates: The Climax
ANY of these clips would make me happy. I'm easy.

The Dalek battle from Evil 7, because the reconstruction just doesn't make it. Not sure if the actual footage in the original episode made it either Sue.But what you saw was the original wasn't it?Those Rolykin Daleks used in the sequence are from the original footage I think which was also used in the Lost In Time release?

Any footage from The Savages would be good as I found it to be an excellent story on audio.Hartnells's anger at seeing how the Savages are treated would be a terrific find.Rumours persist it's one of the recovered stories alongside Marco but I'm not holding my breath. However,it's an underrated story definitely.

I agree about The Savages being overlooked, I liked the novel when I read it many years ago.

Mavic Chen's face when he gets betrayed and shot by the Daleks at the end of Masterplan.
The stand-off between the Mavic Chen and the supreme Dalek (Daleks using the silent treatment!!) at the end of 12, and standoff with the first doctor using the Dalek as a shield. I would love to see it so so much! Subsequent Time Destructor scenes - they sound absolutely smashing.
Evil destruction scenes.
Evil emperor reveal.
Power of the Daleks - Lesterson finds their plant.
Power of the Daleks - pat's first scenes.
Criminal that none of these have been found yet. Criminal. Web of fear extracts would've been on this list a few years ago!

Besides the usual suspects that we all want back I'll include
Power of the Daleks - The massacre of the colonists. I'd love to see how this was achieved and how graphic it was. Isn't there a couple seen holding a baby in some of the photos?
the March of the Rills from Galaxy 4s climactic episode. Again, how did this come across on screen? 'Air Lock' shows a very static prop. How they got 4 to locomote is intriguing.
Benoit being chased by Cybermen across the lunar surface in episode 3 of Moonbase. This sounds terrifying on audio and the moon sequences from this story are well realised IMO.
