You can all join in this one.... (but I thought of this first ) The BBC made a huge amount of shows jointly with other TV companies overseas during the 50's, 60's and 70's. I am wondering how many of these exist (even in an overdubbed form) in overseas archives. 'Pop Goes the Sixties' is known about and exists as does the entire run of 'Engelbert Humperdinck and the Young Generation' (one of my """"finds"""" ), and of course there have been some recoveries (such as 'Our World'), but there are truly hundreds of shows. Many are educational programmes, but I will try and contact a few organizations and archives. A good way to search is BBC Genome, and put in a search term of the overseas TV station, that's one way of doing it. Don't forget that ITV's regional companies also made co-productions with overseas TV network's too, in addition to more commonly with independent production companies....

I've commented before, that there's likely some BBC documentary material (pieces from Panorama, etc.) re-used in various 1960s (and possibly later) CBC documentaries, and all safely stored in Library and Archives Canada in Ottawa. It's not going anywhere ... unless Harper finally pisses off Putin enough that he nukes us.

About 20 years when I was working on 30 YEARS OF CILLA at LWT, after I talked with Michael Hurll, I did contact a couple of European broadcasters who co-produced some Cilla specials and as a result, I received 2 x 1 inch tapes of missing CILLA shows which I duly despatched to the BBC...
I have only recently discovered that they formed part of the first 2 MISSING BELIEVED WIPED events at the NFT as the BBC proudly showed off their recent recoveries - ironic when they went back to the BBC because of someone working at an ITV Company (would have been nice to be acknowledged at the time).
Anyway, just proves that co-production material does still exist when the BBC may have junked them.

Quite a few BBC co-productions with Australia's ABC, mostly drama series:
"Kain" - 1966 drama play starring Keith Michell and Alan White. 90 minutes.
"Transworld Top Team" had Australian episodes in the 1967-68 and 1973 seasons.
"The Virgin Fellas" (aka "Birds In The Bush") was a BBC / Seven Network co-production in 1971, featuring Hugh Lloyd. 13 x 25 minutes.
"Betjeman In Australia", 1972 (BBC / ABC). 4 x 25 minutes.
Another BBC / ABC co-production was 1975's drama series "Ben Hall". 13 x 50 minutes.
"The Emigrants" (1977). Drama about a British family coming to Australia, starring Michael Craig. 4 x 75 minutes.
Various other dramas in the 1990's, etc.
Also, the ABC's "Four Corners" has, since beginning in 1961, included a "Panorama" story once a month.
Rediffusion:
"Farson In Australia", co-produced with ABC, 1962.
"The Right Thing", 1963. A drama play co-produced under a reciprocal arrangement with the ABC. Aired in the UK as part of the arrangement.
Portman Productions:
"Elephant Boy", 1972. Co-produced with Norfolk International ("Skippy", "Barrier Reef", "Boney"), 26 x 30 minutes.
"The Golden Soak", 1976. Co-produced with the ABC. 6 x 50 minutes.
"The Outsiders", 1976. 13 x 50 minutes. Co-produced with the ABC.
"The Levkas Man", 1981. 6 x 50 minutes. Co-produced with the ABC and Studio Hamburg.

Some episodes of The Saint were made in Australia, were they co-productions?

If you mean the original (Roger Moore) series, the only Australian episode was "The Loving Brothers", and that was made in the UK featuring Australian actors who were resident there at the time.
Of the 1989 telemovies starring Simon Dutton, so far as I'm aware, the only Australian one was "The Saint In Australia" (aka "Summertime In Sydney" and "Fear In Fun Park"), made in Australia by Taffner Ramsay & the Seven Network (although I've elsewhere seen the series credited to LWT). None of the others have any Australian cast or crew listed.

Wasn't The Levkas Man shown on Central in the UK? It was made by ABC; Peter Yeldham had left the UK years before in 1976. I think Central showed it, but it wasnae a co-production.

Yes, VHS copies of three episodes were available for loan from the National Library some twenty years ago.
