Hopefully it ruins this guy's reputation so he can't buy another film on ebay If you buy some thing for retail and You can't make money, then you be a man and take your losses

Sadly, there's no way to leave negative feedback for misbehaving customers. You can't even see the customers name.

There used to be, but eBay got rid of that a wHile back. That being said we do know who it was from the relisting it and I think we should let all know who he is including next time a missing episode shows up so the seller does not have to risk this.
To me its being a cry baby to buy some thing and once you can't make money off of paying retail to demand return on a no return item. But then again this is coming from some one who outbid their own customers and then trying to get a higher price than top dollar from them.
Knowing this behavior could protect both sellers and us purchasers when the next missing episodes show on eBay so the seller is aware he is getting real bids.

Yeah just read his feedback and that he has given to others, sounds like a right piece of work.

More bids. I hope he manages to make a profit,I'm guessing he had to refund the first buyer's postage, and the cost of returning it?

At the end of the day the second seller was no different to the first - looking to make as much profit as possible. Its my understanding the current (original) sellers have previously sold prints of TV shows and are very much aware of the market and its potential profits. It may be that the second seller didnt expect a refund but asked anyway and if so I cant really blame him. Sorry but dont really understand all the vitriol towards seller 2 and sympathy towards the first.

I'm not against anyone making a profit-even a huge one.The trouble is,the attempt was made in the spotlight. The relisting was done on the same stage as the listing, with no obvious value added to the product. If a shop has a sign reading "Old crap bought.Antiques sold." it hurts our sensibilities.Even a sop along the lines of "film has been professionally checked/cleaned" would have suggested that extra care had been taken.Perhaps a bit of research accompanying a statement that the film had been played through and found to be without fault.Reasons given for it's being worth a few thousand."These prints rarely come on the market,because...".A bit of provenance...something,would have helped the pill go down.

It looks like it's the same guy who returned the film making bids for it again!
The bidders list for this and the previous sale have him as k***i with (2042) feedback. He's only gone to a max bid of £148.
I would have thought the seller would have added him to his 'blocked bidder' list after the neg feedback he left.

I Don't mind someone trying to make a profit and auctioning to get the best price.
my concern is if you are buying something as an investment and the investment does not make a profit, don't cry to the guy you bought it from expecting him to make you whole financially. You came up with the price, not him.
My second concern is if you want to be a merchant it's bad form to deliberately intercept your customer and then try to sell it to him for double what he could afford to pay knowing he was emotionally attached to the item.
The key is to find something he is not aware of and sell it to him at a fair price with a fair mark-up.

Can't believe that the same droog who'd bid, won, relisted, and returned the item appears to have bid on it again!!
Also can't believe that the seller didn't block the buyer the second they returned the item and left negative feedback...

Well, every bid pushes up the price, so he may have got a better price by allowing it.
