On the dvd among many extras you get a 52 minute documentary which includes a really good interview with Gerald Harper and Juliet Harmer where they also visit some of the locations that were used in the show , the only criticism i had of the dvd was that i thought the audio sounded a bit muddy or very slightly muffled is how i can describe it on certain episodes but all in all well worth buying and there's also a 64 page booklet full of info about the show and loads of photos to.

Bought this DVD on eBay, watched the lot then sold it back on eBay for the same price. I found the episodes really entertaining, I just wish the missing episodes would turn up

It is somewhat ironic that series about a hero preserved for future generations has not been preserved for future generations. I never saw the orginal but it looks good. I think it is a format that might work today if picked up by Jpss Weadon/JJ Adams. Kingsman the gentleman hero proved popular at the box office.

It is somewhat ironic that series about a hero preserved for future generations has not been preserved for future generations Gosh, you might as well say that it's a shame that archivists charged with preserving material are not themselves pickled. Though, come to think of it... And the Adam Adamant origin seemed a bit of a rip-off of the (1964) revial of Captain America in the present day. Anyone else see parallels between Fun Land' and the first few episodes of Adam Adamant? Whoops! Off-topic!

Hope you guys realise that a modern remake (say by Lens Flare Abrams) would be so different that it wouldn't bear any real resemblance to the original anymore?
I wish you would stop commenting in this thread. When I see threads like this I keep hoping there's a new recovery.

A default 'not a find' subtitle on most threads is worth considering!
