Hi people
I *might* have a copy of this episode of playschool recorded as result of my favorite 'top & tailing' that I presumed lazy people like me would do - its the off air recording, which exists as a result of that episode being on the same day as the mary rose was raised.
now nothing is for certain, but is it worth pursuing?

Bri Lostshows says: "11.10.82 Episode 4653 The only known complete copy was recorded on a domestic video format (e.g. VHS, Beta, Philips 1500)." I'll see if I can get an answer from someone. It might be a better copy, it might be the same copy, it might be not needed. We can't expect lostshows to be the final word so it's probably worth checking out. Can you give an indication if it's complete and what the picture quality is like?

Bri It is worth pursuing. If you have a copy and can get it digitally transferred, that would be good!

IMHO It is worth saving every home recording only. The reason I say this is that multiple sources my be combined to create better quality version at some later date.
