I don't know.
You Doctor Who fans like ten seconds of better quality in non-telerecorded colour.
Maybe, JUST MAYBE, this would have some Pertwee in better quality - even though its mute.
Perhaps one of you would like to get a viewing copy of this, somehow? I am really clutching at straws and remember what I know about Doctor Who I could put on the edge of a Rizla paper....
""Film: 39917
Entertainment + Leisure | 1970 | Mute | Colour
Clip:
An online film clip is not available yet, please contact us for a viewing
Synopsis:
BBC childrens programmes and characters from TV programmes as merchandise.
Includes clips from tv programmes (Magic Roundabout, Wombles, Dr Who Daleks, B&W Minstrels, Camberwick Green) and the merchandise and toys linked to Companies producing games, food products, manuals etc.
Children buying toys in a shop. Still shots of stars including Bruce Forsyth, Noel Edmunds. Lots of boxed games, toys and brand names.""
The footage would be from somewhere in the period 1973-1978, more likely 74-77, but could conceivably be from footage filmed before.
I tend to leave Doctor Who things to Doctor Who experts, so it's just....a thought.

They have some interesting stuff, but every time TV material is concerned, they do not give previews out of copyright concerns. I've had the same when trying to identify a clip from Cook & Moore (which probably still exists elsewhere... probably).

Yeah. In fact, several people emailing them probably won't help at all!
In time, a KAL representative could at some point try to establish what's there in the way of missing TV programs.

The material in the Huntley Archive was queried after around 2008/2009 when the DVD range was still very much active. I can't recall what it actually was now, but it was nothing exciting. They were also very expensive to deal with.

At least you checked and knowing that the Huntley Archive has put all their collections online leads me to think they've go everything pretty well sorted out there.
