Hi guys - does anyone know if a Ralph Reader documentary originally broadcast regionally on BBC West in 1976 exists anywhere?
It was in two parts and was called "Showman: The Kid Dance Genius" and "Showman: The Gang Show Bloke".
I'm currently piecing together a celebration of Peter Sellers and would love to find a copy as he narrated the two episodes. It was made to recognise the start of many comedians careers (including his!) in the 'gang show'.
Sadly it can't be located at the moment in the vaults of BBC Bristol.
I am aware that it was re-versioned for a network outing on a later date, but sadly Peter didn't record the narration for that version.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. No matter how rough the copy is, I'd love to get hold of the Sellers one.
Thanks Richard richard.latto@bbc.co.uk

Nice,Richard. I'd be tempted to change the title of the thread by adding"-discovered"!
