I just found it difficult to follow the plot, even after reading the novelisation.
I'll have to give it another go, though.

There isn't all that much plot with Reign of Terror, but Massacre seems to twist and turn all over the place. (unless that's just me being thick) Richard

Richard I think it was a plot to slip in a bit of the History syllabus.I don't remember Magic Grandad visiting the period.I don't think I watched this one at all.I wonder what the viewing figures were? As for "pure historicals",we're talking about an alien using a space/time ship to visit Earth's past.Surely there's an element of sci.fi. in that? .

Richard, how many pics from The Massacre are known to exist? Around 60, I believe.

Since there are no clips or telesnaps either, I'm wondering if this is the least represented story in the series

That would be Mission to the Unknown.

What do we have from mission to the unknown?
Also, if that were considered an episode of dmp what would be the least represented?

There's about a dozen from Mission, plus the handful of press photos, but they're largely all the same.

I just found it difficult to follow the plot, even after reading the novelisation. I'll have to give it another go, though. Richard Bear in mind that the novelisation of the 'Massacre' and the series and broadcast differ somewhat. I recall John Lucarotti wrote the book as he had wanted the script to be, before it was re-written by Donald Tosh. None of this will help with you grasping the plot I fancy!

I liked john lucarettis Marco polo book. How is the massacre book? How does it differ from the show? John Lucarotti's novel of "Marco Polo" is very good, and so is his novel of "The Aztecs". Sadly, I've yet to read "The Massacre", but if his other two books are anything to go by, it should be good!
