That ident on the top of the screen says that this performance exists in broadcast quality in a European archive. German? I have seen this logo on other TOTP clips preserved in an overseas archive. So this would be an upgrade on the up to now only known PVL version, which is domestic quality. Am I right?

The poster has buggered about with it, but it is from the PVL source tape. One thing to note is by 73 German and Dutch and Belgian TV were uniformly broadcasting things of a high quality colour standard. Even their second generation videos were colour. This does not come from a broadcast quality tape in a European Archive, NO! Not knocking you, but do not believe that!

Yes, durchhalten is just the username of the youtube poster, it's not a proper TV station logo. No TV station would use a logo that large. (Google translate says durchhalten means 'persevere', so nothing to do with broadcast quality.)

Ooops.
I was assuming durchhalten was a European channel where the clip came from. Thanks for clearing that one up.
