I must have seen all or most of it too and have no memory of it whatsoever. Another "no monster" serial perhaps? I understand Loose Cannon have made a good job of the Recon from very limited resources. I do rather like the surviving episode, particularly the boiled egg in space scene...

I thought lc did a great Job with the recon also.
When I questioned him further about his dislike of space pirates as a child, he said he felt the story was more like watching lost in space than dr who and he was concerned the direction the show was going.
After the war games started, he was happy again.
Perhaps the concept of a miner in space he found as corny as a pirate in space or a giant carrot?
keep in mind that this is a second hand child's memories and could have no impact on its popularity if found today.

Thankfully i bought all these in one go off Ebay In one job lot I'm glad you've got it now, but it's really not a good thing to support people who buy a spindle of DVDs to profit off of Loose Cannon and Doctor Who. I've spoken to the people whose artwork is generally ripped off for the covers, and they're quite displeased about it too (and are often the ones getting the auctions shut down!)

Tough !!! There are Genuine ones There are no genuine ones. They never made them officially, just coped them onto blank DVDs or VHS tapes. If they have cases or covers then they are fan made ones. I myself have made covers and bought the proper silver amaray dvd cases for them so they fit in with the rest of my collection.

Nearly there with Wheel, ready to watch Episode 6. The various options for viewing have been quite entertaining. Someone's made quite an effort with the simple animated versions. I'm not sure if Wheel is an underrated story, I've really enjoyed it and it's a good introduction for Zoe, one of my all time favourite companions. Watching the season all the way through has highlighted for me that the "base under siege" description could possibly be better described as "base run by angry bloke" season. They're all furious!

Simon, you are so right. That could describe every story.
For the recons - Dailymotion is a good spot if you can suppress the adds; you can find them on YouTube if you hunt.
