I don't think there is any evidence that Dick Fiddy has actually seen anything. He was just speculating. However, I find it hard to believe that Philip Morris walked into a room (film store ?) in Jos and it was completely empty except for eleven cans containing Season 5 Troughton episodes.

I remember a time when the troughton offerings were kinda sparce. All we had was season 6 in circulatiion which as not his best. And that was limited by the fact that invasion, being incomplete was never shown.
Stories like tomb and web were viewed as missing legends which we thought we would never see again. . And now season 5 is, very happy.
Hopefully under a board in Nigeria there remains wheel and snowman, but if it doesn't, I now have more than I dreamed I would

What would be the point of just that few ? More from that block most likely were there.

I have no idea what might, or might not, have been there - but I find it difficult to believe that there were only eleven cans of film.

You're right. There were also probably 1000 cans of African heritage and 15 avengers episodes
