That's a very interesting read! I still have a bit of hope that a major find will occur in the future (nothing on the scale of the omnirumour, but maybe one compete story or a few odd episodes) but that page makes some good points as to why this is unlikely. But i suppose that if it happened with Web and Enemy it can happen again!

If written in Nigeria. Could not Copy B (Web) imply three copies? Master(as in the original they received from the chain).Copy A. Copy B. The Master would be the one destroyed/returned.

Could someone confirm what Copy B is written in with? Yellow? Something? It looks like its been written on (not scratched etc) with wax. Perhaps we can track down a broadcaster known to use that method?

While I have never been optimistic of the omnirumor, Im hopeful nigeria might still have snowman/wheel.
If those two showed up, it would give me closure regarding nigeria.

Perhaps we can track down a broadcaster known to use that method? It was written with a chinagraph pencil. All broadcasters used them for annotating leaders. It is likely to have been written in London.

BroaDWcast update: Revision of TIE / bicycle chains
July 2015
50 years ago today, on 7 July 1965, an internal memo was issued by the BBC which identified that something called "T.I.E." had purchased 26 episodes of Doctor Who. To celebrate that milestone we've given our TIE Ltd page a complete overhaul. (Our grateful thanks go to Steve Traves for his stirling (!) work tracking down the documentation referred to in the update) We've also revised the Bicycling Chains page (again, sorry) to reflect the new information.
