It was also Dodo's debut, although Anne Chapelet featured as a character, who was a dead ringer for Dodo, and whose "death" caused the bust up between Doctor and Steven prior to Dodo entering the TARDIS.

was waiting for this... but what the heck is 3w? 3W is actually a Pertwee story WWW just before the Tom Baker started with 4A ie AAAA so WWW would be 3W. Invasion of the Dinosaurs is WWW and part 1 is still missing in its original format, any many will still say the only Pertwee still missing in colour, hopefully better methods of colour recovery, or an original will turn up to fill this gap.

I was just pointing out that production code 3W would be Invasion of the Dinosaurs, if 3W was a hint in that meaning. a single W would have been better. unless of course it meant that 3 of the W episodes had been found, like the hint of the underground map of 1968 was in the snowman.
There were so many nods to classic TV and films in both episodes than it could have been a nod to Pertwee and the rubber dinosaurs.

Season 3 of Dr Who. 3W. Chaplet nursing home. Dodo Chaplet - who first appeared in season 3 of Dr Who, in The Massacre, production code W. Incidentally, The Web of Fear was code QQ, WW was The Krotons.

I scratched my chin earlier before I had a delicious dinner. That strongly implies the Macra terror, no?
