Following the finding of 2 episodes of At last the 1948 Show in the late Sir David Frosts estate (and yes, I do know he owned Rediffusion) is there even the faintest chance that Sir David was a fan of early Doctor Who? This is an extremely long shot in dark by a desperste blind man. He was already quite successful in the middle sixties, and a man of the media. Did he own an early video recorder? Oh, well. I've asked the question.

Following the finding of 2 episodes of At last the 1948 Show in the late Sir David Frosts estate (and yes, I do know he owned Rediffusion) Unfortunately he didn't. Paradine Pictures (which produced the 1948 Show and other things) was his company though.
