Hi,Christopher.
There are so few of these surviving intact that I'm hoping that for once the records are wrong! As far as I can see the known complete ones are: Series 2: 5,6,28. Series 3: 6,17.Plus another show I can't work out.
The complete ones are:
The Town Within a City (TX 2 June 1964) which is about the new Bullring and held by the BFI.
Plus:
Twenty Five Years of Radar (TX 6 September 1963) - telerecording held by MACE - listed as missing on Lost Shows.
The Kidderminster Story (TX 1963 probably either 26 July or 23 August I need to find a Midlands TV Times to confirm which!) - this was an OB about the local carpet industry. - held by MACE as a telerecording.
And three complete on film programmes (although they don't have titles or credits which would have been put up live so I suppose strictly speaking they're not complete):
Edgbaston (the typed list of TX dates that came with the collection give a TX of 16 December 1960 and not October but either could be correct - who knows?
Things are Changing Here (TX 23 September 1964) which was about the Potteries.
Peak Planning (TX 30 June 1961). The database might show up mute for this because there are various holdings including a mute incomplete negative and a print with a sep mag track. The print is in pretty grotty condition which is a shame.
There are some other film inserts not listed on Lost Shows that we also hold:
5 May 1961 (Local Press)
26 May 1961 (Midland Americans)
9 June 1961 (?) (amateur cine)
We have a Boat Crazy insert but have it down for 7 July 1961
