Scotland Yard &Scales of Justice sets turned up on ebay last year. And all of 'em are bootlegs, putting money in the pockets of those leeches who certainly don't deserve it.

These films were perenially on terrestrial TV until around the end of the '80s. I would definitely buy a box set of the Tales Of Edgar Wallace series, which were all very enjoyable and well made thrillers featuring lots of famous faces. I have quite a soft spot for them. I'm surprised nothing has happened so far on that front (apart from one episode on a sampler DVD in poor quality about a year or so ago). Maybe a blu-ray of the whole lot eventually will be what happens?
I'm not so bothered about the other (lesser, in my view) series though; with shorter running times, there was not much room for character development or anything very subtle. I expect they would have their fans though.

IIRC in the 60s Granada or Yorkshire use to put them in a prime time evening spot while offerings from the itv network were bunged into later spots.

All the German Edgar Wallace titles are available on dvd in a series of box sets. I bought one of them when I was on holiday in Germany last summer. I'd also welcome dvd releases of a couple of shows of a similar vintage: Scotland Yard and The Scales of Justice. No idea who owns the rights to these though. Canal Plus own the rights to Scales of Justice, Network released the whole series on DVD, all 13 episodes for £6. Should of been a Blu-ray option because they were all shot on 35mm film which is as we all know far superior to Ampex 2" video tape.
