BRAVO, the cable channel, repeated at least some of these years ago, not sure how many... So, something survives. Indeed, I taped an episode called "Time to Remember", which featured Harry H. Corbett. Which, for me, was very interesting viewing...

I remember one with John Carson, which was quite boring IIRC but the murder weapon was quite ingenious, which i will not spoil here.
Alfred Burke appeared in a couple of good ones too. John Thaw was in a good one about a shop robbery but was also in IMHO the real duffer of the series called "Dead man's chest" as it was the last one presumably the money had run out?

Just become aware, that Harry H. appeared in 2 episodes of Edgar Wallace. With the second being, 'Marriage of Convenience', - this time Corbett plays the part of 'Insp. Jock Bruce', as apposed to 'Superintendent Hammond'... Don't suppose, anyone reading this thread, has this edition or knows whether it was aso shown on BRAVO, many moons ago, now…?
As always, thanks, in advance...

All the German Edgar Wallace titles are available on dvd in a series of box sets. I bought one of them when I was on holiday in Germany last summer.
I'd also welcome dvd releases of a couple of shows of a similar vintage: Scotland Yard and The Scales of Justice. No idea who owns the rights to these though.
