According to the table here doctorwhoworldwide.com/2014/08/12/feature-cultural-vandalism-junking-doctor-who-1972-1978/Most of the episodes still missing from the archive were "destroyed" in 1974, with the exception of a few in 72 and Galaxy in 76. Since it's known that Australia sent back a crate in 75 (which is believed to be the source of a number of the currently orphaned episodes) does there exist any factual information as to what supposedly happened to its contents since the only currenty missing story officially junked after the crate was returned was (seemingly) Galaxy 4 which was the BBC's own copy anyway. (It is possible that the contents of the crate were junked in 76 along with Galaxy and Pertwee's, and that Galaxy is the only story in that list mentioned as being 76 because all the Pertwee's were subsequently recovered, but still, one would assume that the contents of the crate would merit its own junked documentation as well but I can't say that I've ever read anything definitive in that respect). Furthermore, when Tomb was recovered from HK, it was in a batch of stuff at "despatch" that had already had a number of packages opened. Is there any factual information as to exactly what HK sent back, surely the films had to pass through 2 sets of customs and there should have been an invoice to say exactly how many films were in the entire lot of stuff that was being returned. (Were the already opened packages empty when David Stead (i think it was) subsequently opened the package that contained Tomb? I can't say I've ever read anything to say whether they were or weren't)

Yes. Wasn't there a rumour that more than Tomb had been expected??? The package had been opened?
