I remembered seeing his T.V show as a kid in the late 70s & was shown on grampian in the mornings during the school holidays! This was not really family entertainment at that time,was it not made by HTV? I recall seeing their logo before his show start.

I've definitely got one of his shows recorded on vhs at the time.
Was never sure if it was an American or English production. Will have to dig the tape out later and have a look. It was from 1978 or 1979

I've just checked the tape, which I think is from September 1978.
It's an episode of The London Programme followed by period adverts.
Then an episode of The George Hamilton IV Show. The date at the end of the credits is 1977.
Followed by an LWT closedown.
Not sure if this is a British or American production.
