The cinema screening of Deep Breath includes; the feature length first episode, an exclusive Q&A with special guests streamed live from Leicester Square, a 10 minute behind-the-scenes of episode 1 (Doctor Who Extra) also "Before the episode starts, the audience will also get to watch a 'never seen before' five minute video from an upcoming Doctor Who DVD release."
Do we know what this upcoming DVD release is?

I would imagine it's something that will go on the S8 set.

I've seen tweets that suggest it's a prequel of some kind created for Series 8, and it directly ties into 'Deep Breath'. I don't want to say too much because I don't want to go heading off into spoiler-land (even if they may not be entirely reliable sources).

It's Ms Coleman's XXX dance number.
Sorry, that was a typo, it meant to have read 'prequel'.

Just an interesting oddity. Looking on the BBFC site for Deep Breath, it stated the running time as 98 mins, but it's only in an 80 minute slot on TV. Do we expect an immediate Director's edition? Not wanting to start any rumours, just thought it was worth a mention..........

The cinema release has a 5 min prelude plus ten minute making of doco... The 5 minute prelude (Strax blogging - or should that be vlogging?) was hilarious - it made a great intro to the story - I do hope it's included on a forthcoming release. The 10 minute "making of" was excellent too and is a great reason for bringing back "Doctor Who Confidential", even if they were only short episodes like the Confidential Cut-Down repeats...
