Someone who Tweets should ask him when he'll be able to say!

I blame them for fuelling the rumours ! They have not done themselves any favours at all. On the other hand, damned either way it would seem ! There is no way in the 21st century with the internet that people will ever shut up and be quiet ! And the Questions will go on and on until the announcement if there is one comes. That is not right of course, but that is a sad fact

I blame them for fuelling the rumours How can you possibly blame THEM for fueling the rumours?? You can't blame THEM for fueling the rumours, because that's exactly what THEY want. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to put on my tin foil hat and go and hide under the table.

I blame them for fuelling the rumours How can you possibly blame THEM for fueling the rumours?? Because in public slanging matches with Ian Levine- Mr Morris has repeatedly refused to say he doesn't have any more Who and that Ian should prove that he has. How about not saying anything or a simple no? Behaviour like that fuels the rumours. A year ago (on here) I said that certain people shouldn't be expected to cater to fans reactions --- that was before enemy and world was revealed. At some point the people involved have to acknowledge the effects of their behaviour. Tweeting quotes about Power and Evil of the Daleks in the context of enemy of the world etc - is fuelling rumours. Asking in public about repairing lost Morcambe and Wise episodes with one hand whilst in private telling others that they have another copy is fuelling rumours. Deleting the copying of the acknowledgement of the other copy - fuels rumours. Announcing a load of BS about Taiwanese copies fuels rumours. It's farcical and insulting.

The taiwan copies were made up to force another's hand ! Of course it did not work ! This rumour has been made worse because of blatant porkies, and evading the simple question like a politician ! Thats a fact ! We have not heard a defo 100 % NO, Or yes ! So what can they really expect from some ? The wind is indeed blowing, And we are soon going into Brussel Sprout season too

I apologise everyone, for my tone in earlier posts - admittedly, I was feeling a little grumpy that day!
The event is this weekend, it will be interesting to see what comes out of it.

Is there any feedback on tHis event? Not a great deal to report, if I'm honest. I don't mean that either the RT or MBW sessions were disappointing--not in the least--but those hoping for revelations abour new finds would have come away disappointed. Perhaps the most interesting titbit was that chromadot recovery has been applied to a clip from an otherwise missing OOTU (Liar!, I believe) and will be included on the DVD box-set. The RT presentation showed a lot of before-and-after OOTU clips. All very impressive. The RT has clearly been hard at work, but admitted that for certain episodes (Lambda One, in particular) it's a case of "pragmatic" restoration, i.e. limited by budget and time, rather than the bells and whistles approach that is usually possible with Doctor Who. MBW will be held on 7 December, with a Comedy session followed by a recreation of the BBC's "Our World" (from 1967, with The Beatles singing All You Need is Love). No sci-fi is planned, though that could change if something major lands on their doorstep... (I'd guess that would have to happen quite soon.) Sadly the showing of Nigel Kneales's The Big Crunch was cancelled, due to late-breaking non-availability of a video transfer of the 16mm film (not the organiser's fault). They replaced it with the excellent Play for Today version of Alan Garner's Red Shift (unrestored, but very watchable), which is out in restored form on DVD soon. Also a little disappointing was the much shorter than advertised extract from The Other Man. What I did see of this 1964 alternate history WW2-set play was intriguing, but I felt frustrated by it overall.

Thank you for the great report on the events. While we all wish that there was news that more were returned, sadly that could be years in the future.
I am looking Forward to the ootu set
