I'm still interested in this question if you would be kind enough to answer? He is not going to do the decent thing Marty is he. You dont have to say where and when ! Just that they are back ! This guy could give a politician a run for his or her money lol. They're either not back or if they are back he can't say via an NDA. Even Deborah and Frazer had to sign one in the week leading up to October 11 (from what I've heard Frazer is a blabbermouth so they told him last ). You won't get a straight answer out of anybody.

Indeed Brad. After a couple of sherry's we might get the whole lot lol Of course it would be right at the end to ensure secrecy !

Now honestly, do you really think that if it was stated that x amount of Who episodes were back, fans would just sit back and go. Brilliant! That's nice. I'll just wait until they're announced? The questions would be repeated over and over like kids at the checkout of a supermarket wanting sweets. What are they? Where were they found? When are they being released? Come on! Come on!
Looking at the feeding frenzy that occurred last time, the conclusions would be not to disclose any info until everything is secured. Probably via NDA. It makes perfectly logical sense to me.

Agree, but thats an ideal world ! And the world of who is far from normal lol.

I deleted a rather confrontational post. However - iff I claimed to have found a mushy Pertwee ep - pretty sure I'd be expected to answer questions.

However - if I claimed to have found a mushy Pertwee ep - pretty sure I'd be expected to answer questions. Not being rude, but, why exactly? I can answer this. Several people I know, including a couple of people on this board, have seen a nearly flawless colour copies of Terror of the Autons and The Daemons. The problem is that none of us have them and it's been ages since anyone I know has seen them. And I fully expect to get grilled even though the last time I saw them was in 1987 just like I was for the bits of The Dalek Master Plan and The Power of the Daleks. Why? Some people won't believe you no matter what and they will try to discredit you. There are those who don't believe you but want to, so some people are going to grill you for specific. People who are hoping against hope that there is more out there, and these kinds of statements are going to bring the overly-jubilant out of hiding to ask tonnes of questions.

If anyone out there has had the privilege of seeing missing Dr Who then you can wrap yourself in the wonderful knowledge that you HAVE seen something very special - and leave others to stew. I share the deep desire to recover missing episodes but in the greater scheme of things that affect us poor old humans (unlike those lucky Time Lords) we need to keep perspective. What's out there will in Time surface. if nothing else the good Doctor has taught us that optimism is the name of the game (now there's a TV series I've not seen in decades... Does it exist in archives?).

Some of us are old enough to remember the original transmissions! You are so lucky. I so envy people who can claim this. I had an old classmate who could remember the initial transmissions of "The Evil of the Daleks," among others. I loved listening to him wax eloquent about kids imitating Daleks playing Trains at school.

I have very vivd and treasured memories of the two Troughton/Dalek tales which will remain with me until my last breath. Lucky? I would have no hesitation in deleting those reminiscnces if given the chance to be ten years younger instead! Sorry but anyone who wishes they were older just to have seen some TV programmes really needs help in my opinion.

Unless you're saying, of course, that you would rather that your allotted time-span on earth had happened later rather than earlier. Richard

Of course,in the 60s,if you missed episodes because you were working,or you mum wouldn't let you watch, that was it.No picking up a video or DVD later to play over and over again...
