I've been trying to find out more info about LWT's Friday night series called "South Of Watford" which aired from 1983 onwards - and while it wasn't a music programme per se, there were often musical artists featured on it. I've put the title into the Lost Shows searchable database but nothing comes up. The first I remember was about "Positive Punk", presented by Michael Moorcock with live footage of Blood & Roses and Brigandage. In 1984 (15 June) there was one which featured Madness and their origins in Camden Town, and showed the filming of a video for "One Better Day"; this edition was presented by 'young farty' (his description) Ben Elton. In 1986 (2 Feb) Sigue Sigue Sputnik were the focus of the show, and Ivor Cutler was another subject (9 May), presented by Hugh Laurie. Luckily I recorded and kept the Positive Punk, Cutler and Sputnik editions and originally had the Madness edition but this has long since vanished or was recorded over (yes, I know...) Anyone aware of any others?

I remember the Sigue Sigue Sputnik show well as I photographed them while they were being filmed for it. My favourite edition though is the one that featured The Band Of Holy Joy.

I used to watch the show regularly for the music-based editions. Presumably they all still exist (?).
