Since we're all on the forum it would be great if it could be known about here before eBay. No sense them getting a cut if it could be avoided.

I've been offline awhile - I would have bid :-) Putting it on here first? I'm of two minds. Yes cut out ebay but would a seller get the best price for their item (if there is no BIN). I would have no problem bidding against Damian (or whomever) if I didn't know it was Damian. If that makes sense? Anyway the reel got a good Aussie home and the seller is happy - which is what counts.

Anyway the reel got a good Aussie home and the seller is happy - which is what counts. You'd have the issue of 'authorised bidders' vs people that are trying to drive the price up for the sake of it. How do you know what an honest bid is and what is a joke? But yes I'd love to see it here first.

You loose out on the item only to be offered a second chance offer at the higher price it apparently went for !
