I wish I'd kept that issue of DWM. All I can remember them saying is that Warris Hussain didn't order snaps from the episode he didn't direct.(Did that mean that John Cura knew in advance that WH at least wouldn't want any? Would he have taken them anyway,or did they have to be pre-ordered?).
I believe it was said that time-pressure on WH led to a delay in the telesnaps being forwarded. Were there any objections from cast members,or wouldn't they count? I don't know what rights issues would apply but am guessing the BBC,but not Cura's estate would be involved,if anyone was.

The Doctor Who production team paid for the Tele-Snaps to be shot. WH bought his own set.
Marco Polo 4 was apparently Tele-Snapped, and is - according to existing documentation - the only missing episode with known Tele-Snaps missing.
Richard Bignall will correct me if I've got this incorrect.

I have just recieved my DWM 347 which includes the Marco Polo telesnaps from Episode 7 and much like DWM 344 (and I am presuming all the other Marco Polo telesnap issues) it only publishes 62 of the images.
Have the 'missing' images ever been published anyware before? Were they included in the Marco Polo recon on The Beginning Boxset? If they have been published then where? And if they haven't been published is it likely they will be in the near future?

Just a silly wee thing.
Noticed from 'wiped' that the Time Meddler telesnaps were found at the same time as the Crusade. Does this mean we have a picture or two from the missing 12 seconds of episode four?

They would be quite cool to have/publish.
Assuming it hasn't already happened.

The BBC website published telesnaps for all the existing episodes from stories where they had telesnaps for missing episodes. You can find them all at http://www.bbc.co.uk/doctorwho/classic/photonovels/.
The complete list therefore of existing episode telesnaps they published is:
The Crusade (1, 3) The Underwater Menace (3 - though 2 is now also existing of course) The Moonbase (2, 4) The Faceless Ones (1, 3) The Evil of the Daleks (2) The Abominable Snowmen (2) The Ice Warriors (1, 4-6) The Enemy of the World (3) The Web of Fear (1) The Wheel in Space (3, 6)
Seventeen existing episodes at the time of publication.

I hadn't thought of this but that is a very good point. Have these images ever been published? I am presuming that the images from The Time Meddler are still held by George Gallaccio and those from The War Machines are probably still held at the DWM offices and photocopies may still be held by Stephen James Walker. However I am not certain on these facts.

Since the publication of Wiped! has there been any recoveries of Telesnaps from existing episodes such as The Web Planet or some of the episodes of The Daleks?
Also were telesnaps ever taken from Dalek Invasion?

Also I am curious as to when the Photonovels page was set up; does anybody know?

The last Tele-Snap find was Marco Polo in 2003/2004. Wiped was published in 2010.
At least six episodes of The Daleks were snapped, but only four of them are known to exist, from Christopher Barry's collection (incidentally I only know of three of these, if anyone can tell me the fourth I'd appreciate it).
Documentation indicates The Web Planet was snapped but they are currently missing (which is a moot point because the episodes exist).
No Tele-Snaps have been found for The Dalek Invasion of Earth, but then (I believe) no documentation exists to say either way.

Unless I'm mis-reading the info on view page source - the BBC photonovels page template is dated 27-05-2004

Thankyou Brad and David. Also there is a difference in the order of the last four/five telesnaps in DWM 280 and the BBC Webiste. Which is the correct order? (I am presuming it is the latter)

It must predate that surely. I remember people wondering if the Marco Polo snaps would appear on the site as soon as they were found, which would imply it must've been established before then.
Could be wrong. Was eight years ago...
