Looks like VHS quality video of film. It actually looks like it was made on film in the first place.

Indeed it was made entirely on film. Have had a copy for years and no way is any of it sourced from VT.

I don't know about you all, but it's always looked for all the world like 16MM to me. I was told by another fan that it WAS released for a short while on Betamax videotape in 1979-80. Not sure about how true this is.

It was briefly released, according to my research in the States, by the tiny label Video Tape Network.
