There's a bit more info here:- www.imdb.com/title/tt0397225/(I never thought I would be aged 40 and spend my time researching You and Me and the Wombles! I used to watch Open University, the Engineering Announcements and Weekend World at Primary School age.... maybe that Benjamin Button film has some quirky relevance?!?!)

getting more and more flashbacks from 1974/75 , and remember we all sat round at infant school to watch "You and me" just before dinner time, on a HUGE TV set held up by one metal leg, that got wheeled in every time it was Tv time. also remember "watch"
i seem to remember "kevin the kitten" and the ITV television for schools pre-show card with the little white dots in a circle and we pretended to shoot them out lol

(I never thought I would be aged 40 and spend my time researching You and Me and the Wombles! Those were staples for me in the days before there was very much on in the day time schedules. Dave

Service Information bulletins I do. My big TV watching period was 73-83 really. Probably haven't watched as much since!

I had a lay off from about 1973 to 1980, Ray. Didn't watch much television at all then as I was thinking more about first girlfriends and all that! Got into things again when home video came along as I could at last watch things at the times I wanted to.
