Clearly things come to light as a result of trawling Youtube, so it's never a wate of time. Frustratingly, it doesn't always result in an item being returned to the archives (e.g. The Holiies - Bus Stop from TOTP 1966) but it can at least conclusively prove the existence of material previously unknown. In some cases though (as Ray has proved on more than one occasion), the item does get returned.

I found this missing clip of MAGPIE, its from 1977 but it features Susan Stranks, who i thought left the show in 1974.

It has now been recovered, so not just one of the many that exist on youtube only!
