Yeah those clips from 'Bam! Pow! Zap' sound damnably intriguing as does anything else that comes to light from the pen of such a gifted writer. I do wonder also whether there might be audio copies of some of his missing works such as 'The Road', 'The Chopper' and 'Wine of India'. Indeed owning copies of the scripts for all three only strengthens my conviction that even without pictures such soundtracks would make for truly compelling listening.

Quote:| A couple of other 'finds' inside the archives, was part 2 of compact, also part of part 2 of A for Andromeda along with the full opening title sequence (also around 1986/7). |

Are you referring to the clips or the whole episode (entitled The Machine)?
Quote:| Is this like the A for Andromeda episode that people knew existed but the collector wouldn't give it to the BBC. |

Are you referring to The Face of the Tiger or another episode?

The title sequence was used in a period documentary on science fiction writters I believe? Cannot remember the exact title of the item in question here? Was later seen on the TV Ark website, and later on YouTube as well of note. This is what I was led to believe here as well. That the collector ( who also had some other items he knew quite well to be missing from the BBC) had this item knowingly wanted by the BBC. Knew the negotiations surrounding this and the other items was a tedious and painstakingly long process, which finally came to fruition with the recovery there! I would like to hear The Road as well, betting is a very effectively errie production!!
Cheers, Lance.
