Thank you Richard. Could someone please share some details about '35mm colour film transparency' as I don't really know what that is? Sorry for my ignorance but I'm still learning all about this kind of thing!

It's something made by the BBC for use in making publicity materials. It'd be taken with a stills camera, with actors on set and in costume, but isn't a frame from the actual televised episode.

It sounds like the sort of thing that often appears as an "extra" on a DVD - topless daleks, etc.

Awesome website Simeon, I'll put a link to it on my blog if you like.

One small correction: The Crusade: The Warlords (Episode 3) - Wednesday 19th August 2012

The Warlords is episode 4. :)

What image resolution are you getting the Tele-Snaps at? The website says 480x360, but was just wondering if that was original or if that was what the Blogger site resized it as. In any case these episodes were all shot at 377 lines of resolution (405-line actual) so it's fairly close to original.

Derek probably has the 20 Feast of Steven images but you can borrow mine if you want too.

How did you upload the images? I had trouble getting mine onto the site (and don't look as good as I'd like them to, although the dark, grainy images on the white background doesn't help. :) )

It's also handy cos I'm doing a re-listen of all the missing episodes and am currently up to episode 5 of Marco Polo, so good to see the images too.

Thank you, I'm glad you like it - please do share it on your blog.

Silly me, thank you for pointing out The Crusade error I have changed that.

Derek provided me with a sheet of (nearly) all the Tele-Snaps in one image and I have to go through one by one turning them into individual images. I then enlarge/shrink the image and make the borders around the edge large/smaller to make sure each image is 480x360 as I want them all to match.

I would really like to see the 20 images altogether with them published in the same way and without corners missing but Gary Leigh no longer holds the originals and I don't know what would have happened to them.

I just selected all the images in the file and waited for them to load, shrunk them down to a workable size and arranged them. If you would like to see I have cleaned up the off-air images from Marco Polo if you would like to see those.

The 20 page limit on the Blogger site is annoying BUT... there are only 18 stories that are missing and have Tele-Snaps. :-)

(unless you're planning on uploading tele-snaps for all existing stories too, in which case maybe THEY all go on one page...)

I guess do one for each Doctor, at least they're split over two pages.

I would suggest one for each season but then some would be more filled than others. :)

As they were taken off someone's tv set at home, curved corners are part and parcel - it's just the shape television screens were in those days.

Hey Simeon,

Just tried to play through the images on your site and the TeleSnaps appear to be loading in the wrong order:

Instead of 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 the sequence appears to be going 3-1-2-6-4-5-9-7-8.

This is when you click on an image and get the entire 'timeline' view.
